Message from The Secretary
Dear friends
Greetings from the IndSPN office bearers! As a society representative, I welcome you to the annual meeting of the Indian Society for Paediatric Neurosurgery.
The Organizing team led by Bernard Lyngdoh is working very hard towards an excellent education and scientific spectacle in Shillong, known for its natural beauty and eponymously called the “Scotland on the East”.
Education has been at the forefront of IndSPN activities. As a part of this endeavour, the theme selected for the conference is “CONTROVERSIES IN PAEDIATRIC NEUROSURGERY”. We would enlighten the participants through carefully curated debates on the delicate nuances of at least a few controversial topics.
At Shillong, we are also embarking on the second InDSPN CME Programme; the completion of three cycles will award the attendee Paediatric Neurosurgery course completion certificate. On similar lines, the IndSPN has lined up more educational activities. Including Paediatric neurosurgery updates, quiz, meet the mentor programme etc.
Not only for trainees and young neurosurgeons, but the section on updates on the current standards of neurosurgery is meant for senior and younger neurosurgeons alike, who, in their busy careers, find it difficult to catch up with current standards. Along with the educational activity, you can expect great networking and exchange of ideas with the international and national faculties and friends.
As a society, the IndSPN is looking forward to moving with time to improve the health and well-being of the children of our country.
Please join us in this responsibility through this great educational programme and a celebration of the IndSPN.
